This is kind of an Epic throwback thursday. A while ago, a shoot we styled was featured on Style Me Pretty and today we’re sharing the behind-the-scenes details of this dreamy afternoon with Float Balloon Tours.
For our first big styled shoot, we really decided to stick to the whole “go big or go home” mindset. Our friends, Matt & Olivia, at Float were excited to help us create a gorgeous afternoon with flowers, local food, and some of our sweet friends. When the desert and a colorful hot air balloon are your backdrop, you really don’t need much in terms of additional decor. We created a simple garland for the front of the balloon basket and a sweet little arrangement for the center of the table using colors that we pulled from the balloon itself.
At Hoot & Holler, we firmly believe that good food can make or break a party. Luckily, we’ve got some friends in the business that are KILLING IT in that area. The team over at Chocolade Van Brugge brought in some of their incredible liege waffles (Honestly, it’s the best waffle in town. You have to go try it yourself. Get cookie butter on top!!) and a few pieces of chocolate for each guest. They indulged in a meal made up of various treats from Pizzeria Bianco and sipped on homemade grapefruit mimosas featuring AZ Hops & Vines’ Fluffer wine and fresh-pressed grapefruit juice from Matt & Olivia’s own grapefruit tree. To keep warm as the sun went down, everyone sipped on coffee from Cartel. Jenkins Filmwork was on site to create a video of the magic for us (and snagged some gorgeous photos too!) and Ryann Lindsey Photography captured all the details.
