Jami + Zach’s Wedding

Last October we had the pleasure of working with Jami and Zach for their big day. While we think all of our couples are really fantastic, we must say that Jami and Zach stood out. So much so, that we could start a hashtag inspired by Jami; #whenclientsbecomefriends. We adored the energy and positivity poured into this day and couldn’t have asked for more amicable and fun clients. The ever-talented Mike Olbinski shot their wedding and today we’re FINALLY sharing.

Jami’s bouquet was made up of golden charm peonies, anemone, ranunculus, wax flower, delphinium, dahlias, roses, snapdragons, and a mix of some of our favorite types of foliage.

The bridesmaids bouquets were put together in a more subdued color palette and were constructed using roses, delphinum, snapdragon, ranunculus, kangaroo’s paw, lisianthus, wax flower, and some lush foliage. Each bouquet we create is unique (even at the same event!). We love the slightly different mix of blooms used across each bridesmaid bouquet.

These boutonnieres are probably our favorite bouts of the year. Zach’s one floral request for the wedding was to have his boutonnieres constructed in empty bullet shell casings. They’re simple, sleek, and have SO much personality. We’re obsessed.

Our piece de resistance was this huge metal arch above their ceremony. The arch itself measures 10ft. by 18ft (at its highest point) and took us just under 6 hours to complete. Our team individually strung over 700 carnations across the arch to create a floral backdrop for the nuptials. We didn’t want to block the incredible view of the mountains behind Jami and Zach and we think this floral curtain was the perfect answer!

Jami and Zach opted for two sizes of centerpieces and we had a blast constructing the mix of bud vases and small arrangements. To mirror the flowers used in their ceremony, we made these with roses, ranunculus, delphinium, kangaroo’s paw, snapdragon, dahlia, and wax flower. We also included some peony for good measure (because how can you resist!?).

Mini Hand-Tied Bouquet – TBT

We had the pleasure of working with French Grocery last spring. Each week we put together small bouquets of our favorite blooms that guests were able to purchase for their homes! This one in particular made us swoon so for today’s TBT we’re breaking it down for you! This simple bunch is made up of dahlia, pompons, aster, and anemone. Sometimes simple is the best. What do you think?
